Rashmi Sheoran

Rashmi Sheoran is a science communicator and ISRO space tutor. She is a physics graduate from Delhi University and has worked in the informal education sector for the past 4 years. Her work involved bringing the stories of scientists working in remote locations like the Indian Astronomical Observatory, designing and delivering masterclasses, building Astro camps, facilitating student-expert sessions and by far the most fun, being a video game streamer and hosting her own science show on Kalam Labs to inspire curiosity in STEM fields. During the pandemic, when in-person outreach events were becoming impossible, she turned her focus toward social media. Through her Instagram page, Astro Roxy which has 50,000+ followers, she has shared hundreds of informative videos on celestial events, astronomical discoveries, space missions, etc. After detecting 2 main-belt asteroids and becoming a Guinness World Record holder as a citizen scientist, she has joined CCL where she creates and uses physics activities that bust common misconceptions and spark curiosity in students & teachers alike.
