This workshop is meant for Chemistry Educators, Teachers, Researchers and Resource Persons.

Hands-on experiments covering various chemical concepts from grade 8-12.

In what language would the workshop be conducted?
The workshop would be conducted mainly in English / Hindi.

Is this workshop online or offline?
This workshop is offline to make it more interactive and engaging.

Is this free or chargeable?
 • The workshop fee is Rs. 1800/-.
 • The charges include lodging and boarding.

When will the accommodation be available ?
The accommodation will be available for participants from 2pm 10th February 2025 till 2 pm 16th February 2025.

What is the process to attend this offline workshop?
Registration in the workshop is compulsory. Once registered,  every individual has to notify the CCL team by an email (ccl@iitgn.ac.in) with Subject Line : "CCL Microscale Chemistry Workshop" confirming your registration.

What is the last day to register for this Workshop?
17th December, 2024

What about accommodation and food arrangements for the workshop and its charges?
The lodging and boarding will be arranged for the registered participants.

Note : Accommodation will be available from 3 pm, 10th February, 2025. No early entry would be entertained! (You can wait in the lounge area of guesthouse or campus canteens if you arrive early.)

Checkout time is 11 am, 16th February 2025. No late stay will be provided!

Food arrangement: Starting with dinner on 10th February till breakfast of 16th February 2025.

I will be accompanied by my Parents/Siblings/Spouse/Guardian for the Workshop. Can they have additional accommodation?
Yes, we can provide extra accommodation. It will be chargeable and subject to availability. Please reach out to us to discuss your individual situation.

Is there an alternative plan (online) for those who can’t travel so far?
As of now, we are not broadcasting the workshop online.

Do I need a laptop for the workshop ?
While not mandatory, we recommend bringing your laptop to the workshop. There will be a session planned that involves use of laptops.

Will we offer Certificates of completion ?
Yes, every participant who has attended this workshop will get a certificate of completion.
Certificates will be distributed on the last day of the workshop, February 16, 2025, at 5 PM.

Who is eligible to attend this workshop?

As of now, the only limitation for attending the workshop is that you have to be of 18 years of age. This workshop is meant for STEM Educators, Teachers, Education Researchers, Resource Persons and Educationists.

In CCL, every workshop includes various hands-on activities and a multidisciplinary approach to various curriculum topics. Every workshop we conduct has some new element in it. But if you have attended an open workshop before, maybe you want others a chance to attend :)

1. Who is eligible to attend this Workshop ? 
The online workshop is focused for teachers/students of 6 to 12 grade.
2. What can you expect from this Workshop ? 
It focuses on hands-on approach of creating 25+ artful projects, starting with basic commands, leading to building multi-disciplinary visual models. The CCL team has developed 125+ unique GeoGebra models and the workshop also demonstrates various STEM models at the center.
3. What is the Schedule of the Workshop ?
The course starts from 22nd April (Tuesday), 2025 and will be for 5-days till 26th April (Saturday), 2025. There shall be two sessions every day - (i) 11:45 AM to 1:30 PM & (ii) 2:30 PM to 4 PM. The recorded sessions will be open to watch anytime on YouTube. For day-wise content of the workshop, go to the course webpage.
4. Is this free or chargeable?
The course is free to watch online. If the participants want to avail the certification from IIT Gandhinagar, they need to complete all the course assignments and pay 472/- fees to get the certificate at the end of the course.

No, we shall not be able to make any arrangements to accompany anyone other than the participants.

10. How to reach the IIT Gandhinagar campus?
The campus is outside Gandhinagar city near Palaj Village. So you'll have to book a cab from Gandhinagar to IIT Campus. You can reach Gandhinagar from Ahmedabad by bus/cab.
