Jayashree Kulkarni

Jayashree is passionate about working within an intersection of education, design & children's literature. She is an architect with a formal education and her adventurous spirit led her to move to rural and tribal India; where she worked with NGOs, children, and communities to develop participatory, context-specific educational resources. She facilitated an experiential learning course by Tata Trusts and Eklavya Foundation. At Design and Technology, HBCSE; she developed environment & design education resources for children. She wrote and illustrated a few picture books tailored for children. At CCL, Jayashree finds her niche at the crossroads of illustration, education, and design for the creation of child-centric content. She is fascinated by the complexities of human emotive & learning patterns. Working with children has always offered her great spontaneity, enthusiasm, and energy!
