Science International Forum (SIF), Kuwait Children Workshop ( 26-27 Jan 2018)

Science International Forum (SIF), Kuwait in association with Kuwait National Exchange announced the rescheduled date and venue for the two days’ workshop by Sri. Manish Jain (IIT Gandhinagar), one of the best Science communicators in India. The workshop will be held at Indian Community School, Kaithan from 9.30AM till 4.30PM on 26 th and 27 th of January, 2018. The workshop which is named as “Amazing Science & Maths” aims to bring back the gleam in the eyes of students. This will be a unique opportunity for children to have lots of fun, games, making of toys while they learn the wonderful concepts in Science and Mathematics. Students from Grade 5 to 12 are eligible for registration.

This is the second time SIF Kuwait is conducting workshop led by Sri Manish Jain. Earlier in March 2017, the teachers workshop held as part of the Annual Science Gala, got much attention and interest. Those attended the workshop were excited to learn the new style of teaching and agreed that, if implemented, such an approach would make the student life easier. The importance of such workshops, to introduce innovative transformations in both the teaching and learning field, should be realized in today’s competitive and fast-paced world where the children don’t get enough time to explore and amaze at the wonders of Science.



(SIF) Kuwait Annual Science Gala, 2017

Annual Science Gala for the academic year 2016-’17 organizedby Science International Forum (SIF), Kuwait in association with Kuwait National Exchange was conducted on 31stMarch, 2017,at American International School, Hawally.The ceremony was inauguratedby Indian Ambassador to Kuwait, H.E. Sri. Sunil Jain. Internationally renowned physicist, Prof. SibajiRaha, former Director of prestigious BOSE Institute, Kolkata graced the function as chief guest for the evening.He emphasized the importance of science and technology to take India forward towards its past glory. Sri. Manish Jain, one of India’s best science communicator, gave the presentation on ‘Play with Science’.Manish said that he has dedicated his life to help learn science through simple toys and bring back the smile on theface of students. He amazed the audience with his live demo of simplified teaching techniques of science and math theories. Audience wasgiven the opportunity to interact with the guests.
