Tangram
Tangram is one of the most popular dissection puzzle in the world. A dissection puzzle is transformation/tiling puzzle where you take a set of given pieces and assemble in different ways to produce different various shapes. Interesting isn’t it? It was invented in China and then carried over to Europe by trading ships in the early 19th century.
It consisting of seven flat shapes, called tans, which are put together to form shapes. These are 2 large right triangles ,1 medium right triangle,2 small right triangles, 1 square, 1 parallelogram . The objective of the puzzle is to form a specific shape (given only an outline or silhouette) using all seven pieces, which may not overlap.
